Opening—Photographic evidence of my diaper change
1. Open your Bloglines account first. This is what you'll open immediately every time we meet in the lab. Find my blog in your subscriptions and read the assignments for today. The hyperlinks will help you navigate to specific sites.
2. Use Bloglines again and chose one of your peer's blogs to read a posting about Ch. 5. Choose at least one person’s blog and respond thoughtfully to their post.
3. Login to your Twitter account.
4. Follow your classmates Twitter sites: create a new tab with your browser and navigate to our Googledoc. Click each of your peers’ Twitter site URLs to access their site and click “Follow.”
5. Twitter away with your thoughts. Some examples of things you could twitter about:
• Twitter about twittering (i.e., Twitter seems stupid to me or I can imagine using Twitter in a classroom to… or Can someone help me figure out this Googledoc thing?)
• Twitter about Conley or what you’ve read in someone’s blog.
• Twitter about this class structure (i.e., Too much technology! What are we learning? Or I’m sick of this lab! or I think a better way to do these chapter reflections is… or I’m enjoying these new applications and am looking forward to seeing how they all come together in the context of Content Area Literacy.)
• Create a twittering frenzy.

Locate a text that relates
Imagine your audience (i.e., 4th graders)
Evaluate this text using Conley’s suggestion
Be prepared to share this with the whole group Monday
